Kite surfing: borth Wind Direction: wsw Wind Stength: 12/ 25 Surf / Sea State: nice waves Air Temperature: warm Sea Temperature: warm Weather: clear sunshine Max Speed: Distance Covered:
arrived early with graham and got mark up from out of his van.soon nick
arrives and all three got on the water with 15 / 16 mtr flat kites.great
smooth wind blasting up and down eventually shooting off towards the
estuary and had a play on the flat pools.i went over towards the dovey side
but gave up at the last big sand bank, dont do walking!
after a few good hours the wind started building with every one coming in
to change down.put up the 10 airblast but got politely asked to leave by
the now much stronger wind.the smallest kite i had with me the 8.4 airblast
(11.4 flat) was just that bit too big as i didnt have my smaller 135 board
with me either;should have taken the van!well hung on in there and had some
great wave riding untill looping the kite after a jump ,bang went the pig
tails on the kite and that ended the seassion.bit powered -up!
not a bad day ;great early on with the right size equipment but it would
have been better if i had brought more gear, mind you wasnt expecting such
wind.
a good day by every one ithink .most impressed by the progress of some of
the local riders ie dek and chris; shows what time on the water can do
.lucky buggers for living just over the road as it were!!!!!!!!!!!
